I did two tests of the same brand, and they both came up extremly faintly positive.....in fact they were both soo faint i thought my eyes were playing tricks on me cause i had to look at it up close in a light....i showed it to my friend and she also said that she saw a line, then about an hour later the line dissapeared, yet it WAS there before the 5 min limit. anyways i was jw if this has ever happened to anyone else?? btw i took one yesterday and it was deffinatly negative. and my period is due to start next sunday...

It means you are very very early. Take another test in 2 days and the line will be darker. This happened to me and I took 6 test in all and each time the line got darker, which meant my levels were going up.

This happened to me I took a test and it was very very faint I even had to have friends look at it and they sid there was no line. But I thought there was I thought that I was just seeing it beings I just lost a baby but I took like 3 that day of different brands and did the same thing. turns out my hcg levels were just low and they didn't show up every good. I went to the dr. for a check up on my D/C and i was pregnant again i found out at 3 weeks pregnant!

Wait until your period is due and take another test. If it is positive (even faint positive) get a blood test done to check HCG levels.

If your period is due Sunday, you are definitely testing too early. Your line should get darker as the week goes on and hCG has built up.
Give it 2 days, then test again... you'll see a big difference.

Take another test to be certain, but if there is a line there, no matter how faint, it is positive. But again, take another test to be certain.

I would taqke another one just to be certain. But it there is a line, there is a line. I don't know hwy it would have disapeared. That is why I would take another one but it sounds like you are pregnant to me. Congratulations.
