I prefer ASP.NET largely because it is so well-supported by Microsoft and the developer community is larger, which means more peer help / advice.

I prefer JSP, just more familiar with it and all those JDBC, XML whatever stuff.
ASP is OB, not really OOP and hence not as well streamlined. Unless you have a guide you can't figure it out properly
ASP.NET is new, a good alternative but if I am already familiar with Java... even though as programming goes Microsoft beats others hands down but this is simply a familiarity issue.

Neither. I prefer PHP. It's open-source, and most of all FREE. Not to mention it's native to the Linux environment, which now runs on Mac OS X, and it works extremely well with MySQL which all web hosts support.
