I am a strong supporter of President Bush, and I honestly don't know who all is running for President. Is any of the candidates similar to Pres. Bush. I need to know who to watch for, and if I like their ways. No I'm not going to place my vote based off what everyone says, because I know that's stupid, I'm just look ing for suggestions

Not voting is one of the most unpatriotic things an American could do. People need to stand behind President Bush just because he is our President, even if you do not like his ways. Oh and this should really make people mad, I support this war! I'm going to Marine Corps bootcamp this Sunday and I pray I will go to Iraq!!!

You have quite awhile to decide that, so you need to read and listen to all being said, and form your decision then.

By process of elimination:
Not any of the Democrats. And not Bloomberg/Hagel in the independent run they're considering.
Not McCain. He's liberal on fiscal policy. (For example, he opposed Bush's tax cuts.)
Not Giuliani. He's liberal on social policy. (For example, he supports abortion, and said it would be ok with him if his supreme court nominees upheld Roe v. Wade.)
Not Ron Paul. He's liberal on foreign policy. (For example, he opposes the Iraq war.)
So the remaining possiblities are Romney, Fred Thompson, Newt Gingrich (who hasn't announced yet and might not run), Brownback, Hunter, Tancredo, Tommy Thompson, and Huckabee. As far as I can tell, they're all solidly conservative (except maybe Romney, as I will discuss later). You might be able to pick one who is slightly more like Bush than the rest, but the difference would be negligible.
Brownback, Hunter, Tancredo, Tommy Thompson, and Huckabee don't have much support presently. So if you eliminate them as possibilities, that leaves Romney, Fred Thompson, and Newt Gingrich. Any of them will work, with this possible exception: Until recently, Romney was pretty liberal. For example, he supported abortion and gay rights. He says he's changed to a conservative, but some people don't trust him. So you might eliminate him for that, or you might trust him.

well, if you like liars who don't care about the American people below a certain income bracket, you should really try to stay away from the polls. If a republican is best for the job so be it, but we REALLY don't need another a Bush!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been to Iraq and I would go back in a heart beat, but not for President Bush, for my country and my children. If this war were actually about the AMERICAN people or the lies that have been spewed about the reason we are there today, or even if, I don't know, he didn't lose most of our allies, maybe more people would support the man.

If you support a guy like George W Bush, then might as well not vote at all...I don't think that is any more unpatriotic than you supporting Bush.

I am also a strong supporter of President Bush. The more I learn about Fred Thompson, the more I like him. He has a strong position on the War on Terror and has a lot of conservative views. I have done some research on him on the internet and I have heard about 3 interviews with him. Rudy Guliani is also a strong candidate, so if he gets the nomination, he is well worth supporting.

While I don't agree with your politics, this link is a calculator that tries to match your own thoughts on issues to those of both the Democratic and Republican candidates: http://www.dehp.net/candidate/index.php
