I really liked Cruella De Vil in 101 Dalmatians (1996). She was scary, mean, and plain evil in every way.
What other villains are there this good in character?
I know Disney mostly creates the best villains, but they're always usually animation films.
Any movies you guys have seen where the villain lives in a dark underneath, sanctuary, and lives with creepy-looking characters?
I would really appreaciate it. It's for an adventure film I am writing.
The Queen/Witch in Snow White is interesting.

Hands down, the Preacher in Poltergeist II: The Other Side. The actor who played him was dying of cancer while filming and didn't live to see the film open in theatres. As literally a Dead Man Walking, it brought a chilling air to his character that still gives me shivers.

The villain in Silence of the Lambs besides A.Hopkins, who is a master also. I'm sorry I can't remember his name. He collected the moths. eww Also the man that ran "the machine" in The Princess Bride.

And I also suggest looking at the Captain from Pan's Labyrinth. He is easily the most sadistic and terrifying villian I have ever seen in any movie.
