You can get another hub. Not another router but just a 4 or 8 port hub. Plug the uplink of the new hub (leaving you 3 or 7 free ports and into an open port on the original router.
I have not seen this cause any problems but this is not a license to go crazy here. I doubt things will run as smooth if you have 8-port hubs on all 4 router ports or a daisy chain of hubs off of that 4th port. These SOHO routers are an order of magnitude cheaper than what network engineers purchase and use so there has to be a difference somewhere.

This is really easy. My network has a dsl gateway router which I connect to a 16 port unmanaged fast ethernet switch via a cat 5 cable. I distribute these ports all over my house ( I am only using 8 or 9 at the moment. ) If at any of these ports I need additional connectivity, I just stack another switch on at that location and that's it. My network currently has the router, a 16 port switch, at one port, an 8 port switch, and at another port, a 4 port usb print server. Everything works very well. You really do have so many options, more than any one of us can go into.

If one or more of your computers is a laptop I would suggest a wireless router. You can connect your PC's directly to it and connect wireless with the laptops. If all the computers are in the same room and they are all PC's use a router with a switch if you can find one, if not a switch connect with a hub.

Try adding a wireless card to one of the computers or getting a new wirelesss router. If one of them is a laptop then it may have a wireless card that connect to the wireless router.

Four computers can have a wired connection and one will need to be a wireless connection. You will have to invest in a wireless router though.
