I can't answer that - I don't think there's an established method for measuring hatred - and since the National Bureau of Standards has been laying off employees in one of Commander Bush's disingenuous cost-saving ploys, we're not likely to get a yardstick for hate anytime soon. I do expect that the government will be hiring again, as soon as the boy genius is gone...

We have to continue to stand for what we believe just as they will believe what they will believe and we can do it with respect. It's ok to disagree. The other side of that coin would be what the two groups in Iraq do to each other. Talk is talk, It only hurts when you let it get under your skin.

Your question doesn't make it clear who "we Americans" are. I presume you mean those Americans who think like you. That is, Americans who exclude those from acceptance as fellow citizens those who don't share your (presumably) right wing views.
With that as a starting point the answer would have to be that if one acts hatefully, one can expect to be hated. Therefore, as long as you act in a manner that causes people to hate you, you will have to stand their hatred.
It ain't rocket science.

Guess what? WE Americans ARE the left.
You and the rest of the 23% who still back the worst president in history are a collective asterisk.
But to answer your question (again), here is the official response:

Probably for as long as this kind of false propaganda is posted on Y/A and certain people keep on believing it. The "liberals are full of hate" talking point is getting kind of tiresome and it is just BS used by the right to avoid addressing real issues and problems with Bush Administration policies.

Don't talk to me about hate. If you want to be a victim, fine. But I've seen more hate spewing from the right on this site, and it's just blind hate! With absolutely no intelligent argument. It's sick!

Funny; I'm someone you would label as "the left," and I love America. I even love that you have the right to make stupid statements like the one you just made. And I would die to protect your right to believe whatever you want.
Would you do the same for me?

I'm a liberal. Just because I don't agree with the direction our current government is taking us, doesn't mean I don't love this country just as much as you. It's pathetic that you have to have to resort to this type of empty rhetoric rather than discussing real issues.
