Even if I was 100% innocent, after my time on Yahoo Answers I would just take the plea bargain. I obviously don't know how people react. What would you and why?

This is a hypothetical question.

Knowing my luck (which seems to completely follow Murphy's Laws) I would be found guilty even if I was innocent, I would take the plea bargain. God would know I was innocent and it's His opinion and His opinion only that matters to me, so I should look out for myself rather than my rep.

If I was suing someone, I think I would prefer a jury trial, but that really depends on the circumstances & how sure I felt about the evidence at hand. In a criminal case however, IDK, a plea bargain may be a better course of action. What does your attorney advice?

i know someone who took a plea to a charge he was innocent of because it was cheeper and easier then fighting the charges AND IT RUINED HIS LIFE
you shouldn't plea if you are innocent true if found guilty you could get more time but at least you could hold your head up high that you fought for your rights

Being in the legal profession, and believing (granted, somewhat idealistically) in the rule of law -- I'd take the trial.

I do not belive that I could, as a matter of principle, plead guilty to a crime for which I was not responsible.
