well i have a dvd burner and when i put in a blanc dvd it recorgnizes it as blank but when i run a program, it gives me a error that enter a writable disc, and i tried dvd+r and dvd-r and so many dvd's, as well lots of program but same error. any setting i need to change?, i recently reinstalled windows xp sp2 and that is when this thing started happening?, any help will be appreciated

Do a Windows update to find drivers for your DVD ROM. Something could be screwy with the drivers.

Make life easier, just install and use Roxio or Nero.

check the drivers and see if that helps man!!!
