I am working on a craft project and I need to produce an animal themed item, with a fall theme as well. What animals do you associate with fall/autumn and why?
I know the turkey is a common one, because of Thanksgiving, but what other examples do you have?

turkeys, deer, squirrels, raccoons, crows, bats, cats, mice...think things that forage and store food or things that people consider spooky

I usually think of farm animals because of the county fair, which is in the fall.
