I'm all for a candidate's spouse taking an active role in his or her campaign, but since Republicans have historically had a problem with this (Clinton, Gore, Edwards), why aren't they yelling about Jeri's role in Fred's campaign?

Spouse are always an essential part of any campaign and like the candidates thye will be criticized by the opposition.
Has Jeri made any public appearances on behalf of husband, no, yet she is being attacked and called a trophy wife.

I don't think I have ever complained about that. I have no problem with the spouse of a candidate getting involved no matter what party it is.

The same people whose job it is to minimize your pay.

Hillary wanted to create policy, Tipper was burning books and you don't think that is a concern? Edwards wife is just protecting her honey and getting far too much air time. I've noticed old Bill tries to stay as far away from the Hillary deal as he can.

What Republicans have been complaining about candidates spouses campaigning with their husband/wife. This has been going on since campaigning started.

This is simply an illogical argument.

There's nothing to be yelling about. He's not officially in it yet.
