Im going to go to Nevada in a few weeks. I'm wondering "What are some things you MUST do if you go to Nevada?" Something you just can't leave without seeing / experiencing. Or even some nice sights. (P.S. I'm arriving in Vegas)

I lived in Northern Nevada for 12 years and Southern Nevada for 9 years. First off... disregard the guys answer above. Idiot. The only thing I would really want to see is Lake Tahoe and te area around it. It's truly beautiful. If you actually like desert settings, Red Rock outside of LV or the Valley of Fire also ouside LV. Lake Tahoe is an 8 hour drive north of LV or a 1 hour flight... too bad you're coming in to LV! Have fun anyway

Hoover dam and Lake Mead., Red Rock, are about the only thing other than the gambling in Vegas. I'm asuming you will be staying in that area, otherwise I would recommend the Lake Tahoe region, but that is nowhere close to Vegas.
You do have Laughlin which is to the south of Vegas, as well as Lake Havasu, and the London Bridge. Other than that just a lot of desert.

Las Vegas!!!!! The night pyramid and go to some famous casinos and shows inside hotels. Have to visit the New New York hotel! Also the hotel with the rollercoaster wrapped around it! (I went on the rollercoaster!). A must do. Also at night, to get a great view of Vegas, I suggest going on top of one of the hotels and having a drink! Also visit the Bellaigo hotel (I was in an earthquake there years ago) and see the famous Pirate boat show!

If I went to Vegas, I'd have to see the Liberace Museum and the Pinball Hall of Fame. Other than Vegas, I don't know what there is to see there, except for the Hoover Dam, but that sounds boring.
