Are you driving or flying? Driving would take yuo about 35 hours and flying is about 5 hours. And do you want the time difference between Atl and FL or SD and FL? Atlanta and Florida are both in the Eastern time zone. San Diego is 3 hours ahead of Florida.

According to Google Maps (maps.google.com), using driving directions, a road trip takes "about 1 day 7 hours". I don't know if that accounts for time zone changes though.

It just depends on how you are traveling. If you are flying it shouldn't take more than six hours. Driving will take about a week. Walking will take considerably longer, somewhere around two months.
