I have never believed in a politician in my entire life, but Ron Paul is a man of integrity and principle. He doesn't want to be president to glorify himself, but to help us, the people. He is entirely humble and self-effacing, he has delivered 4,000 babies as an obstetrician, and he has a completely consistent and unwavering voting record in congress.

For those of you who want to see him in office, what strategies can we implement to get him elected? I feel like he may be the last hope for our nation, seriously.

If you don't know about him, check out this cool video to the tune of Aerosmith:

I think the most important thing is to keep telling the libs we know why they can vote for him in good conscience. I think the average Republican (like my grandpa) is a lost cause. They want MORE wars & MORE regulating morality (which clearly doesn't work). The libs can vote for him b/c he:

(a) voted AGAINST the "Patriot Act"
(b) refuses to regulate the Internet
(c) voted AGAINST the "war" in Iraq
(d) will protect personal privacy.

Ron Paul in '08, Baby!

Btw, he is generating tremendous support while barely spending a dime. I don't think money is the key here, though, it always helps.

1 donate to the ron paul campaign
2 help spread the word. hand out fliers, write editorials, put a bumper sticker on your car, wear a ron paul shirt or button, etc.
3 join a ron paul meet up group, or start one.
4 participate in polls.
5 vote and remind others to vote.

I don't support him, but if you want to get him elected you've frankly got to raise money. Set up donation dinners, set up a commitee to raise funds, I assume he already accepts online donations? If not, he better start. If you can think of a legal way to start getting funds to the campaign, start doing it. Only after he raises some serious cash will he stopped being described as a "long shot" by the press. And if they annoint him as a serious contender, he will get more funds, making him even more "legitimate".

Let me tell you, it is sad but true, money talks loud in our elections. You won't necessarily win because you have the most, but you're almost sure to lose if you have the least.

Donate money to his campaign. Hopefully enough people like you will get together and create a political force that can't be ignored or bullied by the fascists who want big government to run our lives.

If he wouldn't put that (R) after his name, I'd feel better about it if he'd put an (I)
He's too bright to caucus with Republicans. I watched the (R) debates and he really is too smart for that label these days.
