**the last name is "Cid", by the way.. pronounced "Sid"
which kinda sounds good with everything.. and my husbands a musician and we travel endlessly, so i feel this gives some freedom to having a creative name.. and to the girl that said "i have too much time on my hands" : this is a running list that i've been adding to over a long period of time.. ask any "trying to concieve" woman im sure they have lists longer than mine! lol

Thanks for sharing ^_^ I know that its hard to share names with others, especially if you want your child to be the only kid you know with that name ... and to share it with a bunch of people ready to tear them apart and critique every little thing about them is hard. ^_^ you're brave

Some of your names are actually on my list ...
Madeline ... though, the spelling I prefer is Madeleine (pronounced mad-a-lyn)\
Anais
Margeaux
Felix
Micah

Names not on my list, but rock anyway:
Monet
Pilar (I've always loved Pilar ... I just don't have the courage to use it!)
Noe
Milo

The only names on your list that I actively dislike are:
Ximena: promising, but we have a Chimenea, and for some reason that's what I wanted to say when I first read Ximena to myself!
Soleigh: only because I much prefer the spelling Soleil ... well, I lie - add the fact that I'm sick of Ashleigh/Kayleigh/Harleigh/etc.
Chanel: the name itself is okay, but I've met to many people planning on naming their son Gucci, and their daughters Chanel and Prada (there was a family on the TLC show moving up that already had Chanel and Gucci). What about Chantal? I knew a girl named Chantal once, and she pronounced Chanel almost identically to her name (she was from Buenos Aires)

I don't dislike the name Reaux (though, I am from the most Cajun part of Louisiana, so I don't think I could pull it off because it's an every day word here) but ....
What about Leroux instead of Reaux? Leroux is an uncommon nickname/surname in french that means "little red one" ... 'tis the surname of the man who wrote Phantom of the Opera (Gaston Leroux)

I actually like a lot of the names on your list, BUT I promise you, it is a pain to have to spell your name to everyone or tell them how to pronounce it for your entire life. My name isn't all that unusual and I still have to do that- and I've been doing it for over 50 years! Think carefully before giving your child a name like that- they probably won't thank you.

For the girl:
cross out Ximena because you're daughter is not asian and your daughter won't like it to be teased asian in school...

cross out Kairo or Kaira cause sounds like a country

cross out Lodis cuz' sound really awful...sound like a mythical creature

cross out Pilar cuz' sounds old fashion my grandma's friend name is Pilar

put Margaux on the guy's name..

Chloe is a check cuz' it's kind of a girl name
Madeline is check but it's kind of common..
Anais is perfect cuz' your daughter is kind of a latina and it's perfect...

For the boy:

Ezra goes on the girl's side...

cross out Astor cuz' it ounds like a car manufacturer

Valentino is okay...sounds very masculine..

Leandro is kind of common so cross it out...

Felix is a no, cuz' it's common and it sounds like a cartoon character...

Micah should go on the girls side...

Massimo is a no cuz' it sounds like a robot name and a brand of clothing

Samson is good but kind of old fashion

Noe is okay it would be nice...

Rhys, riis...is a no

Milo is a no

Reaux is perfect cuz; it's sounds tough for a guy...

Thelonius is alright but it's long

Roman is no cuz' it's common..

I love Felix as a males name. Anais sounds more of a masculine name to me instead of a feminine name. I love Anais as a bys name. For a girl I love Pilar and Madleine. I know someone named Pilar and I love saying her name. Yhey are all beautiful ethnic names. Massimo is also very masculine. They remind me of Gladiator or 300! I associate massimo and Anais as very strong names.

well, you definatly like the unique kind of names. I think that you should go with...
girl:Madaline or chloe
They are not that commen, but they arn't wierd.
boy: umm... no offence, but i think you shouldn't name a boy any of the names you picked out. They are kinda' odd, and any boy named any of those names might get made fun of at school! I'm not trying to be rude, but i'm just sharing my honest opinion.

my favorite girl name: Loren
my favorite boy name: Milo

I love those 2 names! =D
Loren is spelt so cool and Milo is just amazing. Milo is a wonderful italian name and Loren is just a beautiful American classic, spelt differently.

God bless you and your creativity!

They are all great names. With your husband being from Argentina these are appropriate. I hope you get to use most (if not all) of these names too!!
