Are there any places that you can get an apartment without a credit check

There are actually quite a few out there. Many landlords don't want to pay the expense of running a credit check. I've lived in privately owned townhomes as well as apartment complexes and never had a credit check run before I signed either lease. If you have bad credit, it is best that you are honest up front to save everyone the time and hassle.

Smaller buildings with new landlords aren't smart enough to check all the time. Even the small new landlords are learning now that people have internet. None of us make that mistake twice.
