Redrum

I have recently re-entered the dating world after taking time off to recover from a breakup after three years and two kids (one of whom died). So I am just putting feelers out into the stream to see if there are any "fish" left that are worth catching.

:)

good part is: having time for yourself and do the things you want to do
bad part is: got nobody to share it with

Ofcourse the worst part of being alone is getting lonely. I mean, I depend on myself and I like being alone, but sometimes it's nice to have someone else there.

The best would be that you're really just being yourself. Like, sometimes i love putting on a nice dress, and some evening makeup and standing infront of the mirror dancing to music. Haha, lame, I know. But sometimes it feels great to feel good about yourself.

The best part of being alone is your freedom to do as you please without having to answer to anyone else in your life and privacy!

The WORST part is not having someone to turn and talk to when you've had a bad day or a really great thing happen to you and not be able to boast about it to your significant other!

The best part is not having to answer to anybody in your personal life. I don't think there is anything that would qualify as worst anymore - I have absolutely no complaints with being alone.

Best part is that you get some peace and quiet, away from all the hullabaloo of everyday life. You get to think over a few things, too.

Worst part is that you have no one to share your thoughts and experiences with. Or your problems.

It's best to keep a balance between spending time with people and by yourself. That way you don't get too caught up or too lonely.

Best part of being alone: I'm left to surf the net for things that interest ME.

Worst part of being alone: When I stumble into something outrageously cool, there's no one to show it to.

[Edit] I see. Well, there certainly is a great deal of risk involved, but my take on it is this: Why allow bad past experiences to condemn you bad future expectations?

You find yourself reaching out to faceless strangers just for a little meaningless contact of some sort - ANY sort. (sound familiar?) The best part of being alone is being ALONE!!! If you aren't happy in your own skin then you wont know what I'm talking about. Cheer up & get over it - you sound lonely & miserable!!!

I like being able to keep my own time etc and just take off or go out whenever and for however long I like without feeling I need to refer to anyone,
I miss being able to share stuff, sometimes I have a strange day at work or something happens and I would like someone to just talk to and share it with. Not the major things, but the day to day stuff.
Apparently it'll work out

The worst is not being with the one person I love, and the best, really is there a best part?!? I don't like to be alone.

The worst part of being alone is believing that you are alone. The best part of being alone is clearly establishing who you are as an individual, setting boundaries and sticking to your principles so as to not loose yourself when you do become involved.

The worst part is the emptiness and vacancy that the heart can feel and the best part is the purity of uninterrupted experience.
