Yes, you can, as well as the Depo Shot to stop the periods,which stops the cramps. Talk to your doctor about it and see what he/she thinks is best for you.

Sometimes that works, tho not always. Some women take the birth control because it regulates them, thus making the cramps less severe. The pill is not specifically designed to ease cramps tho, that would be something like Midol.

a lot of people who use birth control do find their cramps are not as bad as before they started. it has helped me.

It can also control acne, weight, and unwanted facial hair. It may also lighten your period (it sure as hell did for me!)

some yes but the best thing to do would be talk to your doctor. the doctor gave me Yaz for my period.
