i am planning to go to csun for 4 years
is stony brook ok with kids from other schools in their dental schools

Dental schools are grad programs. They take people from all over the country.

Just because you go to Stony Brook as an undergrad doesn't mean you can go to the dental school. You'll have to apply like everyone else. They usually don't give preference to kids from the SB undergrad either.

By definition -- no. If you are admitted and attend -- you become a Stony Brook student.

You don't have to go there as an undergraduate though. As a state school, it is possible that they give preference to NY residents.
