I've seen ads in Target & Kmart for SW about that price. Check online. Also try Walmart, Penney's and Sears.

Lots of features might be a problem at that price. But you should get enough features to keep you busy.

Happy sewing.

Wal Mart has some for under $100 which are not loaded with extras, but will sew well and have some different stitches, etc. It's fairly easy to return things there if you have a problem, and no shipping back like if you order online. There's always ebay, but you'll still pay shipping and no return policy on many there. You can look locally at newspaper ads and actually go see and try out used machines before purchasing. It usually can't be returned. You have several options and just have to pick the one that appeals to you.

I have a good used machine I got in the newspaper classifieds for $35.00. It was fully reconditioned and tuned up when I bought it.
