I love my Jays, but it's tough to have a real rivalry when we're always sitting in third looking up at you guys in the standings.
There might be some heat developing between the two teams, but the Yankees are much better at this point.

No, although it does help that they are in the same division. The rival spot belongs to the Red Sox, and every other rivalry doesn't even compare. Blue Jays fans will never go after Yankees fans the way Red Sox fans do or vice versa.

a rivalry is when two teams compete for the same goal. key word compete. our rival is boston, we just hate toronto cuz they take cheap shots at arod TWICE for something that happened two months ago and the jays didnt have the balls to try it at yankee stadium!! let it go losers!!

As far as I'm concerned every team should have a rivalry with the Yankees. I love seeing that team lose.

Sure, considering that they just hit A-Rod and a fight almost broke out.
