Gloobal warming means the average temperature all over the globe is increasing. This is a fact, it is. The result of global warming is unusual, freaky, extreme weather of all kinds. Some places will be colder or warmer than usual, some will get more or less rain than usual. People can argue that our society, pollution, carbon emmissions are not the cause of global warming, but it is pure unadulterated accepted fact that global warming is occurring.

We had a warm winter (December golfing in New England) not much snow and a somewhat brutal spring. This has been somewhat the norm the past few years. 4-5 years ago..we had record cold spells and crazy snow. Summer is pretty normal this year, hot and humid one day.. 75 with a 20 mph northeast wind the next.
I won't deny the weather is different than 20-30 years ago.. when I was a kid, we could walk across a river by January..I live on a small lake now, and have been able to walk on the ice just once the past 10 years.
We have a saying. If you don't like the weather in New England, wait a minute and it will change.

Actually, it's been a very mild summer here. The last three winters in our state have been the coldest since 1939, and we've had moderate and average rain and snowfall. You can find someplace on the planet that is having record snowfall, rainfall, droughts, or freaking monsoons any time you look. The real question is why people think that the weather in their area is supposed to be stagnant when it hasn't been for any significant period in the history of the planet.

This has been the coolest summers in a long time we still have not broken 100 and it is already august. My air conditioning is half what is was last year. And last winter was one of the coldest we have had in a while. I live in Oklahoma where summers are hot and winters are short.

Wisconsin had temperatures in the 80's in March. We're usually under several inches of snow during that time.

Hey, it's summer, they are all at the beach catching rays. But fear not, once schools are back in session and it's freaking freezing out, they will be once again wagging their fingers at us telling how awful we are for our carbon paw prints.
