mine is 78 is tht to hot?

that's perfect, and it's definately not to warm
they can live between 76-82 degrees

78 is great for your guppies. Since they're tropical fish that would be perfect. Also this saves you money not needing a heating pad. Mine are always between 76-80.

Guppies are tropical fish. I would keep the temperature around 75 degrees.
