I grew up in Colorado, but I no longer live there, but I'd love to go back. I'm what they would call a native.

Any college town will be fun for someone your age. I'd recommend looking at Fort Collins (my home town), Boulder and Colorado Springs.

Fort Collins is home to Colorado State University, also one of the cities that always makes the list of most desirable cities to live in. The people who planned the city were way ahead of their time when it came to urban planning.

Boulder is home to University of Colorado. Boulder is a very liberal environment, also right on the edge of the mountains. Of the towns mentioned, Boulder is probably the most beautiful.

Colorado Springs has Colorado College and the US Air Force Acadamy. There is a lot of military activity in the area.

The ski towns are great as well, Vail, Dillon, Breckenridge, Steamboat - but there aren't a lot of job opportunities there unless your into being a bartender or ski bumb.

Yeah Colorado is a great place to live, especially if you love the outdoors. In the winter there's skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, etc.

In the summer you can go hiking, boating, jet skiing, water skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking.

For young people - I'd say Boulder is a good place for young people to hang out. Also downtown Denver if you're looking for clubs and such.

i would stay over on the Eastern Slope if you want the fun area. I was born and raised on the Western slope and to make a living here is killer. it has great camping and fishing, skiing in Telluride, Powderhorn but lousy pay. Colorado Springs is great for a person in their early 20'S

Denver isn't something like Steamboat. The latter is a ski hotel crammed with wealthy liberals. Denver is a flat cowtown crammed with conservatives--and people who're greater friendly and down-to-earth. it extremely is predominantly a kin city, and it extremely is virtually ninety to a hundred cases the dimensions of Steamboat. Is Denver "cool?" properly, no longer probably. despite the fact that it extremely is a huge place to stay and improve a kin.
