The fish obviously strted out as twins, and one didn't finish developing.I think you probably have a pretty rare fish there!

Hi Extra Profile, I think Tammy C is correct about the twins theory-if they seem happy then I would certainly give them a chance, in the wild they would probably fall prey to predators easily but in the protected environment of your tank they should do just fine!

Are those conjoined Guppies? If you want it to live, it will need to live in a separate tank. Because of its deformation, it will move more slowly, and be picked on by all the other fish. DO NOT attempt to breed this fish(es?) That will just contaminate the gene pool and lead to more mutant fish.

Oops, that's weird. It seems to be a defect of the intrauterine development that might be seen also in humans. I've read of a case of girl who had the remnants of a twin inside her torax (inside, so it was imposible to be seen) but I've never read of a fish with such a thing.

well idk what happened but if he seems healthy i guess its ok. it is just a deformality i just watched a show on tv that had 2 cows with small legs growing out their necks but other than that they were completly normal...thats prolly all that happened was some type of genetic birth defect and i dont think it is some kind of siamese twin thing but who knows! congrats on having a freak pet they are very interesting convo starters!

Siamese twins! That's what you got. Rare indeed. That little guy may have issues, but he may live just fine.
