yea, my husband and I have been seeing a counsler and I really can't say she does much except listen to us (mostly me!) vent!

It is great getting opinions on yahoo answers but remember 'shrinks' are professionally trained, highly educated and you can be extremely open with them. whatever you say is kept in confidence (not posted on the internet for anyone to see) and they can help you.
'Shrinks' are also specialists in their fields.
We on Yahoo answers can only provide opinions and many many times we are wrong or do not really understand the real issues.

I think you a can get some good advice and some good laughs on Yahoo Answers, but getting professional answers should always come from a trained physician, mental issues should be taken seriously.

It is very therapeutic being heard and trying to help other people ...however some of the answers lack good judgment so we have to pick through until we get to the good helpful ones.
That is a YES!!! a win-win

That is only if your mind is healthy enough to sort out the whackos answering your questions. This place is full of idiots, with a few clever ones in between.
