Yeah if your good. THe kicker is very very important. On 4th and 15 they cant go for it everytime but if you got a good kicker then you got a good team. Adam Vineteri, John KAsay, what not. Great kickers. how good are you at kicking. How far. It's cool. Some people will say its not but it is

Well, players on the team will be uncomfortable and may crticize you because you are a girl playing a man's sport, but don't listen to them. You could have great kicking skills, and be a decent addtion to the team. Don't let negative feedback bring you down. A lot of people can't stand others criticizing them and often get depressed and upset. Just by not listening, having confidence, and practicing your skills, you can completely ignore the criticism and play for the fun of the game.

Absolutely! Especially if you're good and can hit field goals from at least 30 yards. You can win some tight games. It's also crucial to be able to tackle. You are the last hope if someone gets past you. Practice alot. You can do this on your own time as well. you just need someone willing to hold for you. It's good to get as many as ten or fifteen balls so you can kick a bunch without stopping to retrieve them after each kick. Look up Josh Brown for the Seattle Seahawks. He's a friggin stud in his little town in Oklahoma. We love him up here in Alaska too. He got a full ride to the University of Nebraska because he can kick and now he get's over a million per year in the NFL.

It's rare for a high school football team to have a player who is 'just' a kicker and does nothing else. In high school I did kick offs, FGs, PATs, and I played OG and LB.

People cheer for you. That's always cool. Even if you're a backup and you never play a down, you're still getting cheered when you come out of the gates in introductions.

Its not COOL to be on the football team. All you'll do is roll around in the grass with boys and play grab *** in the showers. And on weekends to prove you aren't gay you'll sleep with some uber sexy blonde cheerleader that can't even spell her own name and end up with herpes. HERPES.
