You don't find out unless that living person tells you that it is being bequeathed to you. Of course you could ASK the person, but that would be unimaginably rude, crass and boorish. If you did that to me, even if I had willed the property to you, I would probably change the will.

youd have to ask them, unless you can sneak a peek at the will itself (good luck) but then you might risk being taken out of it, you could suck up, but you really shouldnt be concerned about what you get when your loved ones die

Short of asking them and getting a reply, you have no legal recourse to gain that knowledge.
