Sometimes when im feeling depressed, and if i remember the lyrics to "Always look on the bright side of life" by Eric Idle, i sing it to myself and it cheers me up. Its a nice song. Sometimes when i refuse to sing it, its because i dont want to be cheered up.

Anyway, in your opinion, is it possible to be happy while acknowledging the problems inherent in the world? I think it is, thats why i sing this song to myself, but what do you think? Should we be happy when things are all horrible?

We have always laughed to keep from crying......that is built into us....a survival tactic.....even in the midst of World War 11,,, musicals and comedies were the most popular movies...especially Shirley Temple movies for the kids...so be happy...don't feel guilty....

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

'Life's a piece of sh!t, when you look at it, it can really make you frown'.
You can be happy when things suck, or whine and moan about how unfair it is. Which would you rather do?
