The guy had the lowest QB rating. The guy had a little over 1K yards last year. Seems like to me ESPN over hype this guy way too much. If that was any other QB they would of said he was a bust. Don't get me wrong I think he has the POTENTIAL to be great but as of right now people are putting VY as one of the greatest QB in the league.

AARON- that was in college we are talking about NFL. I saw Andre Ware and the University of Houston put of over 1K yards of offense in ONE GAME!!! but you might be to young to remember Andre Ware and guess what when he was drafted in the NFL he became a bust.

Yeah he is way over hype and overrated all together. This guy will burn up his hype with the Titan soon, went they start to lose alot of games again his QB ability will come into question and they will cut him and look for a real QB. As i can remember don't we have a QB like that in the NFL and his name is Mike dog fighter Vick. A running QB will never amount up to anything just exciting of a couples of play but low QB completion rating to doom his team.

Don't generalize after you heard 2 or 3 saying he's one of the best.

He's definitely not among the best but there are many reasons to think he has potential to become one of the best, which is different.

He had 4 comeback victories, including one after the Titans were 0-21 behind vs. the Giants, and another vs the SB champions the Colts after being 14-0 behind.

That tells you much more than the rating and a bunch of yards.

Yeah, he went to the Pro Bowl with Manning and Palmer in the AFC, but that was because Tom Brady didn't want to play and Phillip Rivers was hurt. Besides them, tell me another one in the AFC better than Young. McNair? Huard? Losman? Numbers were better, but nobody overcame two 14+ point defecits

Well, it's kinda premature to judge either way. Why is a rookie quarterback being scrutinized so much after playing about 3/4 of a season on a not-so-good team. He made major contributions to a couple of his teams victories. What rookies aren't judged on their POTENTIAL. They have'nt been in the league long enough to show what kind of player they will be.

What stats are you looking at? He had over 2100 yards passing, and over 700 rushing. He and Leinart's #'s are identical. Leinart had way better receivers and RB. (his team was horrible too.)

Not sure who said he was one of the best OB's in the league. But, for marketing, which if you know ANYTHING about the NFL is the basis of generating $$$$$, Vince is it. What other QB has the versatility of VY?

Passer rating, who cares. Payton Manning had high passer ratings for years and his team finally made it to and won a Super Bowl (I love Payton, so don't get it twisted).

I have watched VY since his days at Madison High in Houston. He posseses an intangible that makes him a winner. Ask the greatest college team of all-time, USC and Michigan. You should never count VY out. All those stats, ratings, etc. Just keep watching him.

Since you guys are not conVINCEd, the tell me where you think he ranks.

I completely agree and wonder why everyone thinks he is so good. He had a 66.7 QB rating, threw more interceptions than touchdowns, and he only completed 50 percent of his passes. He can run, sure. But so could Vick, and look at where that got him, nowhere. And Young is nowhere near the runner or athlete that Vick is. So he is just a lesser Vick, which makes him one of the worst QBs in the league right now. But he got rookie of the year over Devin Hester, who broke, not a rookie record, but a league record. And he got the Madden Cover, I can't believe that he could get any award besides most overrated.

No he's not puffed up. What he did final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days replaced into surprising. The Titans have been in all probability observing yet another appropriate 5 %. if he wouldnt have performed. definite i agree that he doesnt deserve the Madden conceal yet all the different gamers EA asked declined and he replaced into the only one familiar. If Marques Colston didnt get injury then he could have gained OROY yet he didnt and youthful did so recover from it. i could replace the Vince youthful as being puffed up and placed the two Tony Romo or Mike Vick.

Nobody said he was the best or is saying that. Tony Romo is overrated he stinks. If he didn't play for the Cowboys he wouldn't have even been talked about. Vince is being talk about because of the games he won with a sorry team. He was a big factor ,but nobody said he is the best he is far from it.
