Will just changing a car muffler not the exhaust system give the car a nice sound? or not... I don't want a ugly ricer sound, but just a nice smooth sound ...

Yes, it will, but unless you hear the sound you're looking for from another car like yours with the same type of power this can become costly in trying to achieve the sound.

Flo Master has a nice sound and, will give you a h/p boost. I would explore E-Bay for various mufflers some even have removable bafflers.

sure will...find a good performance muffler...like a "shorty turbo"...auto parts guy will know what your asking for if you use that term...same muffler gm used on old corvair turbo corsa..all the muscle car guys use them sweet sound and best of all cheap!

Flow master will give you really good tone. It will most likely not help horsepower but, no ricer sounds.
