How do you keep unwanted sexual thoughts out of your consciousness?

Sexual thoughts can be triggered by environmental factors (women wearing immodest clothing, suggestive stories etc.) What do you do to be faithful to your spouse and keep unwanted sexual thoughts out of your mind.

Interesting question. But I think most people normally do have sexual thoughts at times, we can't help it. Just try to limit visual or musical suggestive material as much as you can, and try to not be too hard on yourself if you do have a thought or two. As you long as you don't take it seriously or act on it, it is pretty normal for people to have them, and probably impossible to control our minds and not ever have them!!!!

I think it is completely wrong when guy's have "had" every woman they know in their fantasies at some point or another. That's the kind of guy we women call pigs.

Unwanted sexual thoughts are not harmful if you don't act on them. Trust is not predicated on not being tempted. Trust is tested when we're tempted. So try an concentrate on something productive, because you evidently have had some ideas of impropriety.

I don't think that you can. As long as you control the feelings, and don't do anything unfaithful to your wife, there is nothing wrong with it. If you really felt bad about it, then you should talk to your wife and tell her about the problem that you're having. She will understand.

I don't try, and I don't hide it either. My wife and I agree that looking is ok, thinking is fine, but touching is only for her. Seems to have worked so far.

Remember, your a male and us males think of sex about every minute of every waking hour, for most of our lifes. If you try to suppress these natural thoughts then you will finish up going completely mad.

window shopping is ok, just dont go into the shop and max ur card, it is ok to look and think of sexual things, just dont act on them, and if you do act them out, do it with your partner, you can play dress up and so on, so dont be too worried.
