it's the military which will make us safer. Neither a republican or a democrat politician will arm themselves and go over seas to fight. So it doesn't matter which is in office. We have a republican in there now and he hasn't made us any safer. It's just a matter of time before we are struck again and it's not gonna matter who is running the show. Whoever gets in office and does the best to atone for the united states previous 25-30 years of horrible foreign policies will make the world a better place. Unfortunately United States pride and ego does not allow us to admit mistakes. all we can do is point out other countries flaws or what we perceive as flaws.

neither
- A person with a balance of emotional and logic intellect
plus guidance from inner wisdom would make America much better and safer. Someone who can differentiate between good and evil, has the emotional knowledge to empathise with the people and the strength to carry out the tasks a president must do. ie someone who can help bring peace and lawfullness to America and the rest of the world.
with the evil presidents and people in government now it wont take long before the who world is ruined.

Democrat, because they understand the differences in the world and the need for negotiations with unfriendly nations, but rtill won't dare be slack on defense ever again; they'll just use more intelligence. Our friends and allies will once again think we've finally woken up, and we can enjoy widespread support from the civilized world again as we had in Afghanistan. I don't think they'll be reckless getting us out of Iraq.
Stateside, Maybe tourism will go up again, foreigners with money will once again be more interested in investing here, and a Democrat will at least try to focus some more attention on what's going wrong here in the homeland.
Now if we could just get the more liberal dems to be tougher on crime and stop being overly PC, and if they can free Cuba and find creative ways to pay our bills, like higher sales tax and lower income tax, we might make some progress.

It's not universal one way or another -- it's not a partisan issue because not all members of a party are identical.
I'm sure even most Republicans would admit that someone like Clinton or Obama who have federal experience would be a better president than a 35 year old Republican accountant who has never even looked at a map.
And I'm sure most Democrats would admit that Guiliani or McCain would be a better leader than a 35 year old Democrat poet who has never read or written anything more complicated than a sonnet.

The political affiliation of the president should make no difference in how safe the U.S. is from terror. I'll qualify that statement a bit by noting that most of the Republican candidates this year are whack jobs, so having one of them in charge will be about as healthy as having the current incumbent in charge.

I think it would matter much more if the new President actually cared about us, rather than whatever party they supported.
I think that keeps us much safer from terror than our current plan of arming Middle Eastern countries.

We will be safest with a good President. You know, we will need to stop looking at people as either republican or democrat and we really need to start focusing on the person. You can't just generalize all republicans and all democrats like that, it is just ignorant and silly.

extremely a republican, greater specificly Mitt Romney. The democrats are the reason our economic device is hurting so badly. The unions, that are run by potential of dems, make it next to impossible to fabricate interior the U. S.. in addition they pushed for minimum salary to be raised. Why do you think of we circulate to China to fabricate our products? i'm no longer asserting we desire our wages to be as low as China's, or that our working circumstances might desire to be sub par, yet we would desire to hold huge companies back to the U.S. The dems even have made it impossible to drill for oil in our very own u . s .. extremely, we purchase it from Saudi Arabia. the value of gas is plenty too extreme and the liberals say it’s using fact of a scarcity of oil. No, it extremely is not! it extremely is using fact we've a scarcity of oil that has been mined. actually, we would desire to continually be previous making use of oil. no longer using so-stated as "international warming", yet using fact it extremely is economically greater appropriate to have a competent inexhaustible source. The democrats have placed government money in the direction of pushing rules that supply up the mining of oil. they might desire to be taking that money and putting it into examine for selection gas components. That way they could might desire to discover yet another element as properly oil and "international warming" to gripe approximately. Liberals additionally desire to end the conflict on Terrorism. we will not have yet another 9/eleven right here or everywhere else interior the international. we would desire to renounce those terroristic dictators earlier something of the equivalent of yet another holocaust happens. A republican (the only easily conservative working is Romney) could restore the economic device, resolve the capability disaster, and win the conflict on Terrorism. Romney's fulfillment interior the interior maximum sector and on the Olympics do no longer only the his economic genius, yet his means as a competent chief. His artwork as Governor of Massachusetts exhibits that he can run a state like a gadget, so why no longer the rustic?
