ok i was at my computer looking up something when i heard what sounded like a mans voice in my ear saying "Where are you going" . It scared me so bad and i dropped everything and ran out of my room. i know exactly what i heard and it just came out of nowhere. please could someone tell me what could this possibly be?

Your conscience, or someone having fun with you, a television or radio from somewhere, could be anything.

I dont know if they have a supernatural mystery section of answers, but you should check it out (i dont personally have any opinion regarding ghosts, but just a thought). Other than that, you may want to be tested for schizophrenia, which is like hearing voices in your head often. but often its not described like yours (yours is actually audible, like a sound not a thought/inner monologue which is typically schizophrenia) which gave me the ghost idea. Another thought is that it was more like a dream or imagining or hearing things. TV or maybe it was the computer sound. Dont kno what else to tell you.

Yes. That is your imagination.
I understand that you think you heard it coming from outside of yourself, but no one was there so that is an unrealistic conclusion.
I don't believe in ghosts, but for people who do: we are told to tell them to go to heaven where they belong; that they are stuck and need to move on; that they don't belong here. Ghosts cannot hurt anyone (if you even believe in them).
If you think you are hearing voices that are coming from an outside source, you most likely need to be on medication. That is a treatable mental disorder.
Remember Andrea Yates? She was the mother of 5 children who heard voices telling her that she needed to kill her children. So, she did it. She killed all 5 of her children by drowning them in a bathtub.
We are all responsible for controlling our own thoughts. If you think that you can't control yours, get on medication to help you. And get therapy from a reputable, trained, experienced therapist.

Did you have a computer window open? Maybe it was an ad.
Did you play with an ouija board? Maybe it was an evil spirit. See a Roman Catholic priest about an exorcism.

I have had that same thing happen to me. My doctor didn't label it but thinks it could have come from the manic stages of my bipolar. I don't think its a ghost but it is extremely scary.

did you have a death in your family recently? or are you about to make a career change? think about whats going on in your life, cause our conscience has a way of talking to us at times, and yes it can get very loud, also God talks to us even though you might not think he does..... so relax your OK. unless of course your on crack then you might need a drug program j/k

Well i do hear voices too, it sounds like my mom calling me and she didn't call me, i don't know what it is and i doubt i like to find out.

have you had a tramatic experinse that involved a guy .... i have thngs like that happen to me sometimes.... its a memory but i swear to god i hear it, it might be something like that if not maybe you should call gosht busters lol
