A credit union. Stay away from pay-day loans, car title loans or other things like them. The interest you have to pay is the highest allowed for legal loan-sharking and can put you in a much worse place trying to pay it off. Understand, with bad credit you will get a higher interest rate, but it is much easier to payoff if you are with a reputable agency.

BEFORE YOU TAKE A LOAN FROM SOMEONE ON THE NET PLEASE READ.
I have been scammed by a Nigeria lender and now have found a organization that is willing to help with the scammers. It is the EFCC in Nigeria. If you look up there web site they will give you a place to report all scammers or check and see if they are registered in their country. I learned this the hard way and I now want to make sure people know they have a outlet to go to for help. Microsoft is also working with this organization to get them off the net.
If you have been scammed contact them and they can
probably help.

Seriously, I am a financial counselor and I must tell you that...You need Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University.
I receive no material gain for promoting this program. I do receive a great sense of joy from sharing this wisdom with others.
You can't get out of debt by taking on new debt. You must change your behaviors and your relationship with money. It's the only way.
I took Financial Peace University and learned a great deal about my bad financial habits. I hope it will do the same for you.

Borrowing is what got you in the soup to begin with! Stop the insanity. Read Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover". It will revolutionize the way you think about money, borrowing, etc. That is what it did for me. In the meantime, pick up a 2nd job waiting tables or delivering pizzas. You will get cash tips daily to smooth out your finances in the short run.

you did not say what you want the money for -- if it is to pay down debt forget it -- why borrow money to pay off debt -- just pay off the debt. and i know you can not eat $4500 worth of food fast. so what is left.
