my mom is the same way. when me and my friends go out i usually end up coming home late like 2 or 3 in the morning and she wanted to give me a cerfew. i told her "i have never done drugs and i dont drink... i dont hangout with people who drink, smoke, do anything illegal. you know all of my friends and u have never seen me come home drunk or high. i have never been in trouble at school and you dont have the school calling the house because i got in trouble". i told her that cerfews are for kids who get brought home by the cops and i'm nt a bad kid and i get good grades so what the problem? she even threated to get a drug test and i told her go ahead u wont find anything

dont worry im goin through similar type stuff, and im 17- i think ur parents just really love you ALOT that they dont want ANYTHING to happen to u- but u still need to live, and sometimes some bad things hav to happen so u can learn form ur mistakes, maybe u shud have a talk with them calmly- no yelling! and explain that u need a little more freedom, etc. seems like theyre just having problems letting "go" of you since ur growing up too fast etc. typical parent stuff im assuming! they were young once too if u talk to them somehow maybe theyll come around?? GOOD LUCK! :)

Your parents are VERY over protective. They think they have your best interest and all they are doing is pushing you away. There may be no way to get them to trust you but you are on the computer so they must trust that you aren't doing bad things on the computer. Hang in there.

to be honest you just have to live your life. three years goes by quickly. and i know how you feel my dad is crazy. i am as well counting down the days till i get out of this "hell hole". haha. i guess you could just study really hard and get into a faraway college and become successful at whatever you want to do. thats what im doing.

Elena,
Life sucks. Well, what can you do. You have to take orders from the bosses 'till you are 18.
It could be worse. I was the good kid and got blamed for all the stuff my sister (the bad kid) did.

my parent (single mom) is crazy strict with me. i can't even go out without her calling me a million times. this makes me wonder why i wanted that stupid cell phone in the first place...? but then i look at the rest of my family and i see how messed up they are...and i realize i'm kinda glad she's over protective. my cousin just got out of juvi and now she's on probation...and she still sneaks out at night going to house parties. i think your parents will eventually let you go...you just gotta prove to them that they can trust you and everything will be smooth sailing...

Wow, that's pretty bad. Just talk with your parent's and tell them that you don't do all the stuff they think you do and you are carefull and are good and tell them to be a little less protective!
