so about few weeks ago, I read in a newspaper about a boy something like 10 years old, that was kidnapped and abused buy an older guy. when the police rescued the boy and arrested the abuser, the little boy said "bye daddy" to the abuser and he wasnt his father. this boy also had so many chances to escape, but only the boy knows why he didnt escaped.

since I read this, I was thinking quite a lot about this case and now I wonder what was going on in boys mind. what do you think?

I think the abuser brain washed the boy into believing that he was his father. It is a manipulation tactic that pedophiles use to get children to trust them.

The reason the boy did not escape is because molesters scare the heck out of them by threatening to kill or harm either them, or their family members, if they don't cooperate.

They bond with their abuser for survival.
It is part of the "survival instinct".
He succeeded in keeping himself alive by cooperating. What a brave little boy.

I hope the abuser got his butt kicked in jail.

Adults are in a tremendously powerful position vis a vis children. The abuser may well have told the boy what he was doing was loving him. It may be that the kid felt good about some of it. All that is exactly why the law doesn't recognize children as having a choice. That is, even if a child agrees to have sex, it's still a violation of law. They are not in any position to decide those things.

Victims may feel that they can somehow placate their abusers, and thus survive, by being submissive. It isn't love, but a kind of co-dependency. Usually the older guy manipulates the child psychologically into feeling that they are "in this together."

Also, the boy may very well have believed that later the kidnapper would get free and come back and get him again, and he didn't want the man to angrily blame him for the arrest.

I think that the boy was abused, and confused by the abuser. I don't think you need to figure out what he was thinking. Just know that it was a bad situation, that hopefully you never had to deal with. I have worked with abused children and Abusers. No matter what, the situation was f**ked up. I spent time trying to not be in their minds. It is not a good place to be.

The boy was traumatized, when you are in that condition, the last thing on your mind would be to escape because you have already been captured and violated. He may have been told that the man was his daddy, the other kind of daddy who likes to defeat little children before they grow up .

Perhaps you could research more on kidnapped victims and find out about how their spirits are broken, and often defend and empathize with their captors. Plus, this was a small child, not James Bond, give the poor kid a break, he will never have a normal life.

You hear that alot about the people being kidnapped and they can get away but dont, it is because that the kidnapper has brainwash them and that they are not the same person has they were before. I think you would like watching Nancy Grace on CNN headline, you probably could learn alot from it.
