Can any obstacle or disadvantage be turned into something good?

heres an example of what im talking about:
An actor, when his cue came, was unable to move onto the stage. He said "I cant get in, the chair is in the way." And the produce said, "Use the difficulty. If it's a drama, pick the chair up and smash it. If it's a comedy, fall over it." From this experience the actor concluded that in any situation in life that is negative, there is something positive you can do with it.

pls explain

I believe disadvantage can be turned into something good. For example, people with developmental disabilities tend to focus on their skills more. Some of them are pretty good at reading number, coding or creating artwork. They get more attention from caring people because they need help to become independent.

Yes, I believe that any negative event or situation can be used to teach you a lesson. It may not have a positive outcome, but it is still a lesson learned and that in itself is positive. I’m disable and I have had to learn to ask for help. I have had to learn that I am not in control of my life. I can only control the way I react to what is around me or what happens to me. That’s just life to me. You face obstacles and learn to overcome them. That’s how we grow. Whether it’s a baby wanting to get to that bottle or a wheelchair wanting to get to the second floor. We learn to think it out, be creative and sometimes we just have to accept that wheelchairs just don’t fly, yet. :)

There isn't any obstacle or disadvantage unless you label something to be one. It's your choice to perceive as negative or positive to start with, so it's also your choice to change the perception.

i would say this is true of many negative situations, but not all,
its sorta like the "if life gives you lemons, make lemonade", but there are some tragedies in life i think, which just must be felt as something to suffer, there is nothing positive in them, nothing to learn from them , etc

What's to explain? Those are good examples.

I heard this phrase one time and it is the truth. The way I originally heard it was "There may be reasons but no excuses). I've since revised it for your situation. "There may be reasons (for not doing anything positive) but no (real or valid) excuses.

i think of people might nicely be happy to have the opinion that they choose. they could be waiting to particular there opinion, and people who hear (which could be lots of persons) could have an open recommendations, and perchance replace there opinion. some critiques would possibly not become something, even though it doesnt recommend there valueless. despite if no one treasures your opinion, you're able to. Its what makes you who you're.
