Would you agree to this proposal?

Question

I say that we start doing one of the following: Whenever you hear someone say something along the lines of "that's so gay!" you correct them by saying "no, it's so homophobic!" Also, in situations where people would call something "gay" you instead call it "homophobic".

I already tell them something like that. Even though I am heterosexual, I will NOT tolerate anyone making fun of LGBT. At my school, we had very old computers. Every day, someone would say "Oh, these computers are so gay!" and I would respond that no, their computers are not homosexual. People got mad at me, but oh well. At least they don't say it around me anymore.

lol... well, I ALREADY correct them by telling them that to use "gay" with a negative connotation is really rude and ignorant, and that usually shuts them up. Otherwise, I'll openly talk to my friends about how I love hot gay guys and how they're so scrumptious to look at (not have since I'm a gal... lol) in the presence of the douchebag who said that statement. Then, I glare at the person. ^-^

I also use "that's so straight" sometimes in order to make fun of how absurd it is that people nowadays use the "that's so gay" line. Seriously, it's one of my greatest pet peeves when people say that!

NO! I like telling my straight friends they are doing something "that is so gay". Gave me an idea next time I see one of my gay friends do something gender normal I'm going to tell them "that is sooooooo straight.

That would be a good idea but they could just mean that is happy or stupid so i think it will only work in some cases. but i get what your saying . Good Luck . And i relaly hope it works.
