It's unlikely that America will make any sort of attack against Iran, and an invasion is prettymuch out of the question.
A nuclear-armed Iran would be very dangerous, though. 'Danger' doesn't even really describe it, I doubt that there is any chance that nuclear weapons developed in Iran would not be used immediately - most likely through a 'terrorist' intermediary, to provide deniability and thus forestall retaliation.
