but you love your house too much to move? I mean really! Someone who thinks he is God and rules the world, or at least the town, but I've only lived in this house for a year and I love it too much to move - what am I to do???

No Grub... I think I'd rather die than have a relationship with him!!!
We have a "shared" driveway and he's threatening to sue us if we continue to park on our half of this shared driveway. And he hasn't even moved in yet, this is gonna be fun...

He is a realtor. He has owned the house for the whole time we have lived here, he was flipping it to sell but took too long and spent too much and was asking way too much and it didn't sell, now he is moving in so he stops loosing money on it. Believe me, he IS the neighbor from hell, we’ve already been dealing with him for just over a year…

I would let them know that I'm not afraid to go back to prison if they mess with me or my family.

If and only if you're certain that he really is the neighbour from hell - you don't want to hurt another human being without serious prior consideration - then I'll share that what worked for a friend of mine (and he really was a monster) was a remote-controlled CD speaker disguised as a rock (no cables) and a couple of sound effects CDs. eBay has some beauties.
But this really was a bad man - e.g. throwing bags of doggy-doo from behind his hedge at people he didn't like, and even nastier things. My friend resorted to the 'noises off' only after many attemps at mediation failed.

been there, done that and moved house! Seriously, i went through all the proper authorities to get it dealt with to avoid confrontation from a very nasty neighbour and got no support at all. The stress wasn't worth it so i moved and never looked back. It's a sad state of affairs when you can't relax in your own home and life's too short.

How close are your houses? You may just be able to ignore him, for the most part. Just be civil and leave it at that. Hopefully he'll get the hint and not bother you too much. Good luck!

Come outside and introduce yourself. Start talking, and if you still can't stand the neighbor, please be cordial. Neighbors are VERY IMPORTANT. What if your well pump breaks, or your dog gets lost, or you wake up to find a flat tire on your truck? You may be pleased to find out what goodness people can have if you give them the chance.

if he thinks he's god, it's probably not worth trying to talk to him about changing....
so, i'd just do my best to ignore him unless there is a necessity to do so.
depending on where you live, you COULD build a really tall fence to block your view of him. AND, that would probably piss him off that there'd be this huge *** wall in his way. So, it's a double win for you: ridding yourself of having to see him PLUS irritating the hell out of him. LoL.

Do you know this person or just heard of this person, if you have just heard of them don't get all worked up just yet, but if they are one of those people, get per pared, next you have to ignore them, don't let weirdos ruin your life, mess with them, play around tell jokes, make yourself laugh at them, you see what I am saying?

I would just kind of be like, 'Well, yeah, your not the ONLY person that lives here, ya know. I mean, I am the one that owns my house and pays my bills, not you."

Give this person a chance. They might not be as bad as think for a neighbor. And, if not, you don't have to socialize with him. Maybe he will keep his property neat and not be a noisy neighbor.

Give 'em hell. Be as annoying and bitchy as possible. Make it clear he doesn't rule you. BTW-I'm sure the town will get tired of it soon.
