Hahaha. Reed and Rowdy! Strange names but the more I say them they seem to flow! But in saying that we have a friend whose nickname is Rowdy and that is all we call him so it seems familiar to me.
I would bite my tongue in this situation as my brother in law said something really mean about the name I have chosen for my daughter a couple of nights ago and it really hurt my feelings...especially as they are expecting a baby as well and I only said nice things about their childs boring name...right before he said mean things about mine. Now I really don't want anything to do with him! So if you want to maintain a good friendship, just let them name their baby whatever they wish...they are going to so anyway no matter what other people think!

I would say tell your friend you thoughts on the names I have twins and I would never think of putting names like that to my children. Kids will pick on them just for there names the mother needs to think before she names her children. If it were me, I would want some one to say what the F@#$ are you thinking about. My kids have normal names because my parents gave me a name that was not that known when I was growing up. So to your friend pick something different but not nuts.

I think you should slap the sense back into them. Who the heck wants to be named Reed like a piece of grass and Rowdy?!!! Man some people are screwed up and selfish these days.

I really dont like these names, either. Especially Rowdy. My neighbors dog is named Rowdy. I dont know where some of the people come up with some of these names. I feel bad for alot of these new babies!!!

I think Reed LaRue is cute - Rowdy however is kind of idiotic. And yes, bite your tongue. If they like the names that is their business, not yours.

I do agree that they're a little odd for names.. I like Reed... and Leigh, but I personally would drop the rest of that..
but as a friend you dont get to be negative

The names do sound crazy!
What happens when they are adults and in a professional job? That's the name they have to put on a job application?
All I have to say is Wow.
