Invite some pro football players over and see for yourself. Such questions are hard to answer, particularly since the shark swims in water and anacondas are reptiles. I would be suprised if the snake could wrap himself around the shark before the shark bites the s__t out of the snake.

Well in deep water like the person below said the snake would get killed, but since 25' anacondas do not wonder in to the Gulf of Mexico. the only Plausible senario would be a shark in the amazon in which case an anaconda would have no problem winning, an anaconda can take out crocodile which are not as a agressive as bull sharks, they are larger stronger, and have a lot more experience in a swamp, and crocodiles still lose. so I have to say a 25' snake definetely can kill a 12' shark

Non-parametric question! What are the relative sizes? Which strikes first-and where? A 25' anaconda could probably kill an 8' bull shark unless the shark struck the neck or mid-body. If the snake starts swallowing the shark they will both die. The shark will suffocate and the anaconda drown. However the anaconda is found only in the Amazonian (freshwater) watershed and the shark is only found in saltwater (except for the the Lake Nicaragua (bull) shark and the Ganges (bull) shark. i.e.-they never meet. michael

If the Bull Shark happened to wander into an Amazonian swamp, then the Anaconda wins. In deeper water, the snake doesn't stand a chance.
