Those of us with a post 2nd grade education know that we were winning militarily in vietnam and the north was contemplating suing for peace because of our continued bombing. The left via politics and outright treason caused our "leaders" to pull out without the job being finished and 3 million south vietnamese, cambodians and laotians were slaugthered by commies. Does siding politically with the enemy give aid and comfort to the enemy and bolster their confidence to continue to fight though they have no way of a tactical victory? Only political and ideological victory? We know that almost all terror attacks in Iraq are concentrated around baghdaddyO because that's where the bleedia is. Bleedia reports only the baaaaaaaaad and the left eats it up like the sheeple they are.

Competition is indeed the engine that has driven the American dream forward, but unity in time of war has made America the leader of the world. During World War II, 405,399 Americans died to defeat Nazism, but their country of immigrants remained sturdily united. The U.S. held national elections during the war, but those running for office entertained no thought of damaging America's international prestige in their quest for personal victory. Republican challenger Thomas Dewey declined to criticize President Roosevelt's war policy. At the end of that war, a united America rebuilt its vanquished enemies. It took seven years to turn Nazi Germany and imperial Japan into democracies, but that effort generated an unprecedented technological explosion and 50 years of unmatched prosperity for us all.

Now we are again at war. It is not the president's war. It is America's war, authorized by 296 House members and 76 senators. I do not intend to join the armchair experts on the Iraq war. I do not know how we should handle this war, and they don't know either. But I do know that if America's political leaders, Democrat and Republican, join together as they did during World War II, America will win. Otherwise, terrorism will win. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi predicted just before being killed: "We fight today in Iraq, tomorrow in the land of the Holy Places, and after there in the West."

Sowing the seeds of anti-Americanism by discrediting the American president was one of the main tasks of the Soviet-bloc intelligence community during the years I worked at its top levels. This same strategy is at work today, but it is regarded as bad manners to point out the Soviet parallels

Vietnam was my war. I was wounded as a 18 year old. I wish I did not have to say this but yes the lefties had a very big roll in us loosing the war.. But the blame for us running away was a Republican, Richard Milhouse Nixon. That is what I like about GW. He is getting it from both sides but he is staying the course in a very unpopular war. That to me means he has a backbone. He does not check the political winds to find out how they are blowing before making up his mind. He just does it , Then thinks about it.

you've got it all right. the democrats have done everything in their power to defeat bush even if it means handing america over to the enemies. every man woman and child. they are more interested in hate than in bringing america together to do good work. a certain democrat senator was even quoted as saying, that it will be very bad for us if the news from the report on iraq is good. how much more open can they be on their position on this situation? they have come out and stated it publicly. what, are we just supposed to ignore it?

Known Fact: The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor because they thought we wouldn't fight for the Pacific. Liberals in the United States were fighting reinstatement of the draft in 1940. The Japanese took that as a cue...

Yes, of course.
This war has always been: THE USA VS. THE TERRORISTS & THE DEMOCRATS.

Democrats ALWAYS support our Enemies.
And it brings them in a Lot of $$$$$$$$$.
That's all the Democrat Party cares about.

bin ladin himself addressed this in his 1998 tape. he was very vocal on the subject. (please read his statement before you call me a lying neo-con.)

When a terrorist chops off heads, execute hostages,
blow up innocents, i am sure that bin Laden revels in
watching American liberals blame Bush for everything.
It proves to him that we are weak in our resolve to fight.

i fear that since viet nam, american will never be able
to actually win another war for since that time, people
such as Jane Fonda, the liberal policitians and the
anti-war segements embolden the enemy to 'wait us out'.
given our lack of responses to their atrocities in numerous
attacks that occurred long before 9/11 or iraq,
they think of us as weak.

we value life and they use this against us as they take pride in their 'strenght and resolve' to win.

the terrorist are very specific in their plans to do us
harm, they tell us frequently but we don't listen. it is
a huge mistake to under estimate our enemy.

i am in the process of reading the quaran and various links
provided to me by a muslin. they refuse to admit there are
terrorist, that it is all westerner propaganda. this must
be why the majority of muslins are not protesting or speaking out in mass against those who are killing innocents daily on a global basis.

they have declared war on us. i don't understand those who
refuse to acnowledge this fact but for whatever reason, it is at our own peril.
