working with females?

I work with more men than women. they are so anial at times. Why do they gossip so much. This is hard to deal with sometimes (most all the time)

Men can be just as hard to work with, They're equally anal (the correct spelling) and they are controlling and defensive. If they ask you how to do something and it's more than 2 steps to do it, they turn around and walk away. If a woman is young or attractive, they treat her like she's a toy. So I don't know why you have a problem with women.

I'd prefer working with men any day over women. I know how to deal w/ men a lot more than having to deal with the day to day drama queen "oh my god I broke a nail" women. And that's coming from a woman! I've mostly worked around men most of my career and have done it successfully and w/o harassment or drama. I treat them exactly how I want to be treated and that's exactly what I get in return. It's always team work.

While I agree with pbufh, I own an auto repair facility where I employ 3 men, and they are better than all of the other women that I have ever worked with in the past. They are quick to tell me where I stand with them, or if they have a problem. I can have a serious spat with one of them over any number of issues today, and tomorrow it is resolved and forgotten. While I would love to employ one or more women, I really have gotten used to the more laid back approach of working with a man.

I work with mostly men, too. I prefer it! Women can be so catty, moody, biatchy, and yes, anial retentive. Men are more easy going. Even if they're upset, they vent and move on. Women tend to hold grudges.
