Why do women/did women think Luke Perry is so hot? He's got a receiding hair-line, he's EXTREMELY skinny, and I just don't get it. I figured women who were in their late 20's and older are old enough to remember when the 90210 hype was fresh and maybe they could give me some insight. Thanks!

Well I used to watch 90210 every week. Luke Perry was hot on that show. Maybe cause he was the bad boy. And then he had a nice body :O). These days he's not as hot as he was then but that also has been a long time. These days I personally think Jason (Brandon) is better looking. But Luke is not so bad for his age.

Well, he was my favorite guy on 90210 even though he was too old then to play a teenager. Not so great now...doesn't he have the same haircut even???
He looked really good in the movie 8 Seconds.

Because on 90210 He WAS hot. Not so much any more. He was also a bad boy and girls seem to be attracted to bad boys.
I liked Jason Priestly too. He is still pretty good looking.

I have to agree with the first answer.....he was cute about 15 years ago. He was on a show recently and he does have a receding hair line and is not so hot any more. But I think it had a lot to do with the "bad boy" brooding image.

Gosh. I can barely remember. I'm 30. I think I thought he was cute.... Remember, we women give different weight to the details of appearance. Receding hairline? Not a problem! We're more into the attitude. I think he was sort of suave and rugged, that's why we liked him. Skinny's okay, too, if the way you carry yourself makes your clothes hang well. The guy I have a crush on at work is nerdy, overweight, wears glasses, and is losing his hair. He'd be shocked if he knew I thought he was a cutie. : )

I am 50 and never watched 90210 but I think Luke is a great actor. I never think of him as "hot" though.... I loved him in "Jeremiah" on showtime a few years back then in "Oz" on HBO.

I thought Luke looked too old to be on 90210. Maybe he was held back in school when he was younger. Not my type.

There's no accounting for taste, I guess. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Most men think Uma Thurman is gorgeous. Granted she has a great body. But her crooked nose and narly teeth are awful. But, there you go. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So, obviously, you and I don't behold like others do.

He was cute when the show first came out but I always liked Jason Priestley (Brandon) better. It's on to the fresh & new dudes of the decade like McDreamy and McSteamy.

He was kinda cute on that show, he played the bad boy and we're all suckers for the bad boy. He's pretty ugo now. Jason Priestly is aging a lot better.
