im buyin my first car in about a month, and i would like something that looks kinda sporty, and has good power, like a mustang or a camaro, but what are my other options? I'm 17, so i know insurance will be high. What other powerful sporty cars are out there? My budget is pretty low ($5,000)

If you want sporty and power at a decent price I recommend the Grand Prix GTP.

I just recently traded in my 2000 GTP and that car was very fun and powerful.

You can probably land you a '99-2000 model for around $5k depending on miles.

The first car should allways be the one you learn to drive safely with. There will be time in the furture for fast and sporty. The chevy cavalier makes a good first car.Fun to drive GOOD mpg and four and two door models are eazy to find. The cavalier drives well and eazy to fix.Best of luck with your choise.Drive safe.

on this low budget, i highly suggest an economical car. sports cars are nice if you can afford them...but right now you can't. the fuel and insurance alone is beyond your reach.
get a job, save yourself a few thousand dollars, and buy a brand new car...which is affordable...according to your salary.
a new GTO or CHARGER OR CHALLENGER would be nice.
