That whole concept makes no sense. It is about the same as me shooting myself in the foot to collect child support.

Junto America, you are speaking of a mistaken cause and effect, which is a logical fallacy. Oil companies actually make a much smaller percentage in profit than most companies do. This percentage has not increased since 9/11. I believe it has actually decreased with the cost of oil increasing. The federal government actually takes a MUCH larger percentage of money per gallon at the pumps. The reason for this increase in profits for the oil companies is directly related to an increase in consumption. We are using more gas, therefore purchasing more, therefore increasing oil company profits and revenues. Don't get me wrong. The oil companies would love to make even higher profits and increase the percentage of money they make on sales. But as it stands, they do not. So your claim is null and void.

That is not an apt comparison at all. It is like you shooting me to collect the insurance money. The collapse of the world trade center did not adversely affect Bush personally or financially. It gave him an excuse to expand his powers, get re-elected and play soldier. It was a financial coup for his allies, Haliburton and others in the military industrial complex.

But you are right, it was not about getting oil, it was about control oil supply to ensure that gas prices would make the oil companies rich. Since 9/11, oil companies have been making record profits and the gas of price skyrocketed.

Coincidence? I think not.

I don't think it is necessarily the fact that we think that Bush planned 9/11, it is just the fact that we believe he is not helping our country the way we think he could be. With the oil companies aside we just think Bush is hiding a lot from the country and it isn't right. If we go to war with a country we want to know all the reasons why. Maybe then innocent soldiers won't die for reasons we know nothing of. It is that simple.

Why did people believe the world was going to end on 01/01/00? There are a lot of paranoid people out there who gravitate to conspiracy theories.

If Bush could have pulled off 9/11, why wouldn't he have planted WMDs in Iraq. It would have been much easier and also made his life a lot easier...

Totally Agree with you dude. Bush is not clever enough to mastermind a such a scheme anyways, so that alone should be enough to disprove it. aside from all the flaws in the conspiracy.
