Do you think ppl are mostly good or bad? Why?

We all have aspects of bad and good but people are mostly good. In general we follow order and structure. If you look at something simple like going to work you can easily see this; we could lie, cheat, and steal our way to wealth and that would also put food on the table and although some will most of us won't. Instead most will do the right thing. Work for your money.

But we're also powerfully influenced and adaptive to our environments. Children who grow up in gang neighborhoods are more likely to join gangs themselves. Children who grow up in complete households (with mother and father present) are more likely (although not guaranteed) to have stable marriages as adults than do children who grow up in broken households.

Being able to identify the good and bad in each of us is key.

All people are inherently good. Pranksters can attest to this. Whenever they put a dummy dressed as an old lady in a wheelchair then roll it down a sloping street, they often observe the responding prank victims running down the street to save the dummy.

The idea that man is inherently bad is what created the need for religions. It's the idea that makes even a saint to live life flogging himself. It kept the table of religious leaders bountiful with sacrifice offerings. It created police institutions and jails.

Both at the same time. Anybody is capable of anything within their physical capacity. Whether something is good or bad is a matter of perspective. The death of someone dear to a family may create opportunities for someone else. Which is good, which bad?
The whole idea of seeing things in terms of opposites is a big trap anyway.
Look at the whole male-female thing. Most people regard males and females as opposites. The fact is that there is a distribution(spectrum) of characteristics onto which we impose lines and call them this or that.
Day and night seem like opposites to you. They are very different to bats and cats from the way they are to you.
So don't look at people in terms of words, just see what they do and decide how well that suits you.

Mostly bad cuz they won't let me rule the universe with ultimate & supreme power.

I don't understand why either. I would make it a 2 day work week while we take 5 days off. And I would make karaoke the national past time. And in addition to all that I would require everyone to play the kazoo to each other in place of "Hi" or "Hello".

And all I want in return is all supermodels to tan in my backyard. Is that asking too much?

People are neither good nor bad. People are good if theydo what i want them to, or agree with what i want to, or please me in some way, people are bad when they dont. Now, if you stand opposite to the whole thing, I may be the bad person who is making people do good or bad..it depends.....if u stand on the other side, yes, pple are good cos tehy are doing waht I want them to, but No, on this side they are not good, cos iam makiing them do somehting they wont because whatever it is iam doing is not really nice. It is always a give and take.. What makes pple bad ?? Pple are bad if your emotions do not match with theirs ..but are ur emotions right, and truthfull and straightforward ??? think about that first...and then u will figure out if pple are good or bad...

People are born into sin....ever since Adam and Eve. People are naturally evil, selfish and self-serving and inconsiderate. If you look around, most people are not what you would call evil, but they are not Godly. There is no middle ground here, you are either evil or you are good. You either serve God or Satan, and that is the truth...It is sad that it will be too late for alot of people before they realize this....

I think most people are good even if it's hard to tell, because usually they don't try to pay attention to themselves without a reason. And bad people we can see more often because they don't afraid of being bad or rude. Does it make sense? Hope, I helped =)

Our behavior is mostly controlled by society. We're social animals and we greatly desire praise so our motivation is praise, both real and imagined. I'm not sure that makes us either good or bad but we are easily manipulated by our desire for praise.

I believe that people are mostly good!... But they are easily manipulated by bad leaders, corrupted politicians, superstitions and organize religions.
