I've lost count of how many "Is Bush the worst president ever" questions posted here on Y! Answers.
Invariably, someone posts "oh yes, absolutely, no question there". Great! Well, we certainly have learned something new today, made progress promoting our cause, and certainly didn't waste anyone's time. The back-and-forth was top notch. Here's how it goes:

"Bush is HITLOR (sic)"
"Bush is the Greatest EVAR (sic) and all you LIBTARDS (sic) can go to hell"
"You dum conturd" (sic)
"Only REPUGS would thin dat Bush is smrt" (sic)

Yes, it's all very enlightened discourse. I don't know which is the most appalling, the lack of proper spelling or grammar, the self-important and self-congratulating tone, the absurd attacks on the opposition, the lack of any substantive argument, or the disturbing inability to recognize the trolling pattern and learn NOT to respond to such questions.

I actually feel like I am in hell reading some of these questions. Yahoo! is where reason goes to die

Windbag-

I appreciate the three seconds you spend considering your response.

By the way, look up "sic" on wikipedia.

I agree completely. That's YA for you. It ain't exactly the Lincoln-Douglas debates. There are occasionally some intelligent questions on here but you have to sift through with a fine tooth comb. I mainly come back to try and find those.

hahahah thats really funny but I haven't actually seen more than 3 questions on Bush, maybe I haven't been looking hard enough though. There may be some people with bad grammar but there are also people who write brilliantly with great precision and personally I love yahoo and if a question is stupid I always try to give a good and decent answer that answers it and if its bad shows that in it too. I actually find it quite hilarious to answer the questions on Bush over and over again. Some of the opinions people use in there answers are just so funny but I personally am trying to develop a more balanced view. I don't hate Bush
but I don't think he was the best either. All the presidents had their faults and the reason for so much corruption is probably
their lack of emotional and moral understanding despite their intellect and logic. It takes more than just a smart person to be a good president. It takes one who has a balance of all the qualities a person could have. I'm sure you are sick of hearing about Bush though hahaaha.
you sound like one of my old English teachers who has to teach inane pupils all day- believe me you have nothing to complain about until you are a teacher ahahah. lol

a lot of these answers are from intelligent and knowing people but what if the people who post these questions aren't as smart as you, they can't help it and were having fun so
boooooooooooooooooooooooo you old old bitter people you must be over 60 lol

Because The Sad Fact Is Most People Are Sheep And Spend Their Lives Just Following The Herd.
I Think Bush Is A Blathering Moronic Abortion Myself But That Don't Mean Bush Bashing Is All I Have To Do With My Time.

With such a limited vocabulary and an even smaller amount of knowledge learned to base their questions on - I can fully understand the purpose on repeating the same questions.

Unless someone is at home to read them the answers... It's easier to just ask it again instead of learning how to mark it to go back and review it all again later.

For the liberal elites who point the asking user towards the door: Good technique - Telling someone to hit the road when you're mind isn't capable of respecting someone with an answer.
Talk about wasted bandwidth... Jeebers.

Yes people do post the same things incindiary things repeatedly. Sometimes all you can do is just stay above the fray and answer what you want to without getting into the bomb throwing. In my questions I try not to call out one side or another simply because I want to see what people think about the problem. And I tend to see pretty good answers when I sift through them.

I feel strongly that it's the disturbing inability to recognize the trolling pattern and learn NOT to respond to such questions, that is the most appalling.

Fortunately for me, a few of the more active Conservative Trolls have taken to blocking anyone who disagrees with them (perhaps in homage to President Bush's tendency to fire advisors that disagree with his presuppositions). That alone has helped me cut way back on my bad habit of feeding trolls.

I understand your frustration, inane is the observe. Repetition is yet another. "Do you think in aliens?" "will we commute in time?" "How long does it take the Earth to teach as quickly as on its axis?" "Does area end?" those are only some examples, others might desire to spend hours devising complicated questions approximately value of fall. At one time i got here across it relaxing going for the time of the questions, now it extremely is a waste of time, i glance as quickly as a week and stop.

Folks on Y!A represents only a very tiny portion of the population, with at least half of them being low paid fast food workers whining from their mamas basement that it's the president who's the dumb one. The repetitive questions, with their hallmark poor grammer and spelling demonstrate the effects tenure has on public schools. For many, this is the only place for them to vent.

you seem to have selective eyes.

i see plenty of questions about dems and socialism and communism over and over again.

or...

how can you support the troops but not the mission?

lots of questions (using rather convoluted logic) comparing dems to hitler.

lots of 'why do' questions - usually linked to one obscure person who voiced on opinion about something taken completely out of context - but that breaths real life into some talking point - either side does this.

how about the 'where the outrage?' questions - usually asked not knowing if any outrage ever existed.

i love the ruby ridge questions - that's a 'where's the outrage? combined with a 'why do libs?' question.

yup, lots of repetition out here - ON BOTH SIDES...
