Ohh yes!! Even though I will not be able to enjoy this ramadan, due to being 9 months pregnant during it. But, I am still going to enjoy making it for my Husband. As well as enjoying it myself!!

The first batches always turn out not the greatest. But, as Ramadan gets more along I get better.

I'm ready, I'm ready!!!
We vary the nights up between red and white.

You can thicken it with 1/4 cup flour and 2 tablespoons water in a dish, mix together to form a paste. Stir it into the soup while it is boiling as the last thing.
Really if you use fresh tomatoes, grated u shouldn't have to add a thickener but the one I mentioned works well if necessary.

My aunt makes the best Harira in the world, my God, so delicious. She lives 2 hours away from my home and I drive there just too eat her Harira in Ramadan. I cant wait.
I will ask her to give me the recipe and if you like I can email it to you.
God bless.

I really like harira, but not all, some people really know how to make it, some don't, I am the latest. Fortunately, usually some friend of my husband have the Moroccan wife make some extra for us.
